Speech Comm

301--Practice
Simple task today. Consider this prep for your final project, which we will discuss tomorrow. You are the sender. I am the receiver. What is your message, and how will you convey it? You can ask me questions, make requests, complaints, compliments...tell me how to make a sandwich. I'm ready for anything. Hit me.

Rory looked at Professor Cregg, her face blank.

"What do you think I should do with the mistletoe I have from my journalism class?" she asked, carefully keeping her face devoid of emotion.

Naturally, of course, the ever-famed Gilmore blush creeped up her cheeks in spite of her efforts.

Red blood cells, or erythrocytes, are relatively large microscopic cells without nuclei. They live about 120 days and then are ingested by phagocytic cells in the liver and spleen.

*sighs and rubs her eyes* You don't... I do, I'm afraid. My head's all full with biology revision it seems.

Make sure I don't sign up for hard sciences next semester? *grins sheepishly*

*a smiles slowly creeps onto her face* Depends what 401 entails.

*grins* Then I expect you shall see me there.

[identity profile] notcalledlizzie.livejournal.com 2005-12-08 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
*tilts her head* Will it involve the same duties I've had to do this semester?

I can run videos, no problem. I don't know what time I'm going to have, because obviously I don't know my schedule for next year, but I'll certainly do my best.

*nods* Sure thing.

Dear Santa Claus, what I would like for Christmas is...

D'anna sips at her coffee for a while, considering her options. "What if we haven't a particular message in mind, Miss?"

[ooc: Player is ill without any reasonable/creative ideas to explain D's two missed days as she's already in some pre-played stuff. She may have been locked in the emo-closet during the morning hours.]

[identity profile] dbiers.livejournal.com 2005-12-07 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yes, Miss."

[identity profile] wannabelawyer.livejournal.com 2005-12-07 09:37 pm (UTC)(link)
"I'm not looking forward to the end of term. Aside from the lack of homework, that is. That part'll be nice."

[identity profile] wannabelawyer.livejournal.com 2005-12-07 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
"I promised I'd go home for the break. Not looking forward to that much time back there."

[Chiana sits and thinks a while before deciding what she wants to say.]

I've kinda been wondering what happened to the Safe Walks. Yeah, the....uh, main reason that the Walks were there has been...taken care of. And, yeah, maybe it wasn't the most well used thing ever. But, with all the attack ducks, gremlins, zombies and other dren in town, aren't there still reasons for it to be there, just in case?

[identity profile] miss-monochrome.livejournal.com 2005-12-08 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
::nods:: Probably. He was the one who started it off the first time, yeah? ::pauses:: Do you think that, maybe Red could work too? I mean, it is his town and all, right? Maybe he'd be interested in starting it back up again too.

::blinks, surprised:: Sh..sure thing, teach. ::smiles and starts writing down notes::

Every life is like a piece of string. At one end is a person's birth and at the other end is a person's death, if those ends are tied together they become a loop. Eventually a string touches another string which means a person has met another person through their lives. If that loop string touches that other life he/she then can "leap" into another time in that person's life.

[The Mun needs a life.]

Veronica is surprised to find that she beat Piper to class two days in a row.

She looks at CJ and merely says, "Thank you," keeping her tone as neutral as possbile.

Piper really couldn't think of anything interesting to say, so she looked at Professor Cregg and simply asked, "How are you today?"

Piper smiled at the professor. "That's good to hear. I'm also fine."

"Money is very important!" Anya announces.
