Shop Class: 12/6

When the students enter the classroom they'll see that the familiar junkyard has been reinstated.

Sitting on the tables are some old coffee grinders.

"Your assignment today is to create a machine that will connect to this old coffee and grind the coffee. The machine can be powered by anything but an actual engine. Anything that powerful would destroy the coffee grinder. Feel free to use anything in the junkyard."

*DEATH begins hunting for an old hampster cage, finally finding one. He removes the wheel from the cage and, using various and sundry bits, including rubber bands, to make make-shift gears, connects it to the coffee grinder.

He then looks at the machine and waits expectently.*

*The Death of Rats appears after a few momments, scampering into the danger room to report to DEATH. He holds his scythe at the ready.*

*DEATH motions towards the contraption with his own scythe.*

*The skeletal rat hops up and down, motioning wildly with his scythe. He does appear pleased.*

*Following this bit of rodential ranting, the Death of Rat crosses his skeletal arms and, if possible, would appear quite stubborn. For a rat.*

THERE ARE SACRIFICES WE ALL MUST MAKE TO PROPERLY PERFORM THE DUTY. IT IS OUR PLACE TO TAKE PRIDE IN A JOB WELL DONE. NOW, PLEASE. INTO THE WHEEL.

*DEATH's voice has taken on a more imposing tone, if possible for DEATH to sound more imposing than he normally does.*

*The Death of Rats, eventually, climbs into the wheel and begins to run, the turning of which causes the coffee grinder to work. He is radiating a rat-sized aura of dread and annoyance.

DEATH, however, appears to be quite pleased.*
