Jenny is sitting in a bare office, and is typing happily away on her laptop, updating herself on all the new computer technology she's been missing out on.

Jenny gives Callisto an amused look, then pulls the collar of her shirt down to reveal a silver cross resting against her bare skin. "Happy now?" she asks.

"Got your e-mail," says Jenny, moving on. "So, the name issue we're good on. Hippie parents? I'll pair you up with someone once I figure out who's already got a partner. The schedule's a little more problematic, but I think we can work it out."

"Just making sure."

"That's good." Callisto refrains from asking where exactly Hippie is, or why she thinks her parent came from there. "Despite the completely psychotic teacher, it's been an interesting subject and I don't want to have to drop it."

"We're past the drop date anyway," says Jenny as she lets her shirt hide the cross again. "And it's not fair to penalize you for something that happens so late in the semester. How familiar are you with computers? I'm going to set up an online forum, and you can make up your participation grade there."

She leans back in her chair and puts the coffee mug down. "Glad to hear you like the subject. It always helps when the students are actually interested in what you're teaching."
