Re: SPECIAL COLLECTIONS

"Front counter, in the drawer next to the computer. It's never locked, it's got all the office supplies in them. Dr. Pierson has extras in his office." Parker walks down one of the aisles, checking left and right, then stops with the door still in sight and pulls down a book. "Okay, here's one that's a good example of both: The Secret Life of Roses. See the blue sticker? This one will only cause mild bodily harm if you handle it wrong-- the cover secretes some kind of acid, and after a while, your fingers start to burn. The pages have been treated with some kind of poison, but it's so old, it's mostly worn off. So licking your finger and turning pages will just give you heartburn, not burn through your stomach."

She gestures to the books around them. "We're trying to get caught up on all these, give them all stickers for various levels of harm. The black ones are the ones you *need* to be wary of. Those are the ones that are dangerous for so many reasons, we'd need an index. Any questions so far?"
