Morning Announcements

"Good morning, students. Here are your announcements for November 30, 2005:

- There will be a Holiday Pageant on December 8th in the school theater. Tickets will be $5 a piece and will go to benefit victims of Manos Sleeping Sickness.

- Locker 327 appears to be spitting out reams of a poorly written superspy novel involving anthropomorphic lemurs and psychic vampires. Word count thus far: 47,000. Students are urged to encourage the locker to hit 50,000 by the end of the day, in the hopes that such an accomplishment will give the locker the self-esteem to behave better.

- The school term ends on December 21st. Spring Term will begin on January 6th and end on May 1st.

- The administration would like to inform students that transfiguration into an animal is no longer an acceptable excuse for missed classes or homework, since it has apparently become the latest "hip fad." If you find yourself without an opposable thumb, please see Marshall Flinkman in the school basement about a translation device and find another student to transcribe for you. Extra credit may be given to this helpful student at the teacher's discretion.
