Anakin opened up the door to the Flight Club shed and waited for the rest of the club members to arrive.

He turned to them and said, "Hope you all had a good time over the holidays. I've put in a call to Fly By Night in town to see if the owner'd be interested in getting us some time up in some real Earth airplanes. With that in mind, I've changed the simulator to fly like a Cessna 172, a typical aircraft on this world. It's very easy and user friendly."

He yanked at his braid. "If you'd like to fly the real thing, please put your name down on the list and I'll get back to you as soon as they get back to me about the number of students he can take at any one time."

He clasped his hands together. "That's all I've got today. Have fun. Try not to break anything."

Aeryn has to hold her hand in front of her mouth for a minute because she doesn't want to laugh too obviously. "And John was worried about the Little Drummer Boy," she says. "If I ever turn into anything, please have the mercy to shoot me dead, all right?"

Cameron huffs and whines, his head drops and he hides his nose under his paw out of embarrasment.

"Oh, don't do that," Aeryn tells him. "With the way people turn into things around here, no one's even going to remember this."

"She's right, you know, sweetie." Vala grins and looks up at Aerytn. "Besides, have you ever seen anything cuter in your life?"

Aeryn's probably never called anything 'cute' before in her life, but Camwolf would fit the description. "He's fuzzy," she says, and bends to scratch him behind the ears.

Oh man. Not again. It's like a reflex, Cameron stops sulking and turns his head into Aeryn's hand, his tail swishing happily over the floor.

Okay, that's definitely cute, so Aeryn keeps it up. "Can we keep you fuzzy like this for a while?" she asks.

Cameron whines softly, this ear scratching thing might be his downfall. His hindleg twitches as he wants to help Aeryn with the scratching.

Aeryn hopes he's not human again before she has a chance to buy one of those camera things. Because really.

Cameron gives in and scratches his ear too. Yups, that's all good. His tail swishes happily behind him and he gets distracted as he tries to catch it once more.

Aeryn stands straight again, shaking her head. "Cam, you're chasing your tail."

/I know!/ He whines.

Cameron stops and sits down, looking up at Aeryn and trying to ignore the feeling of his tail swishing behind him.

"So how do we get you back ~~tomorrow after I've figured out how to take a picture~~? Wait until the bite wears off?"

Cameron would shrug, but cubs don't shrug. He wishes Dream were here to translate. There's plan to catch the hamster that bit him, but he's not sure if that's going to change anything.

So he just barks once, sounding a bit unsure of it all.

She frowns. "Is that a yes?"

He barks once again and nods his head. It's the system he set up with John and it seems to work.

He now sags completely through his paws and hides his nose.

"Oh, good luck with that around here. Most people will only shot you with a video camera...."

Not that Vala would or anything. No. Never.

"I'm sure I can find someone who'd do it," Aeryn says, mentally checking off the candidates. John wouldn't, but maybe Callisto or Parker... Any of the people in Gun Club, really. John Connor would probably do it...

"Hey, don't make it sound so terrible," Vala frowns, holding her hands over CamWolf's fuzzy little ears. "You'll make him feel bad!"

Aeryn raises her eyebrows. "Cameron can handle it. It's practically part of growing up here," she says. "It's just never going to happen to me."

Cameron whines and wants to hear Aeryn repeat that when she turns into a polar bear.

Aeryn is never turning into a polar bear.

Ever.

Or anything else. She has enough to worry about without fur.

Cameron didn't exactly plan this either.
