Open Sociology Lab : November 29

Grissom opens the lab and grins like a loon setting up today's forensics display.

The Cyranose 320, a portable electronic nose.

He puts out extra scent pads, in case any students would like something analyzed.

It's pretty much Geek Christmas in the lab today.

[It's the actual e-nose they used on CSI. I am such a geek. And the open labs are always for any and all students and faculty who want Grissom's bizarre analysis of something, to play with the toys/use them for nefarious purposes, or to just swing by for a conversation, etc.]

I haven't noticed any unusual abrasions or swelling. Though I understand that vision can be affected. Care to check for yourself? *Remember, viewers who are eavesdropping--the door is still open.*

Grissom finally breaks his cool and gets a little flustered. It had to happen eventually. "Uhhh... yes." He then considers the fact that no one is across the hall in the Ethics classroom, it is the only place on campus not under surveillance, and he totally has a key. "That would be prudent."

*She chuckles, shaking her head and listening to that goddamned conscience of hers.* I shouldn't tease you during your Open Lab hours. I apologize.

*Besides, the leather is being cleaned.*

"I've developed certain coping techniques throughout the years. They, of course, have different rates of effectiveness." He throws yet another glance at the door, and shrugs. "Plus, this isn't exactly the LVPD. Even if one of the kids stop by, from what I've heard on the pirate radio, I don't think they will be too traumatized by a teacher sitting on another teacher's desk. It's okay."

True enough. And I doubt they'd be traumatized by an in-depth demonstration of anatomy and physiology. You'll probably be congratulated by names_ash for bagging the Ice Princess. *Her feathers are still a little ruffled from those broadcasts.*

He gives her a soft smile, and quickly touches the hand that not visible from the door as a gesture of comfort. "I'd like that."

"I'll do what I always do. Blame the kids," he jokes. "Should I bring anything?"
