The room is open, and Dream sits in his usual chair. He is trying to seem less intimidating. Really.

Rory wanders in, looking exhausted, and scans the room. She's obviously looking for someone.

Having finished talking to Dream, Bridge is heading over to the desks when he sees Rory.

"Hey, um, can I talk to you for a minute?" he asks her quietly.

"Sure," Rory smiles. "You're just the guy I wanted to talk to, actually. We need to set up a day for the interview."

"Oh, hey, yeah... that's coming up pretty soon, isn't it?" he asks.

"Ish. It's not due for a couple weeks, but I'll need time to work on it. How's this weekend look for you?" Rory replies.

"Yeah, absolutely, that works. I don't have any big projects or anything that need to be done that weekend, so it'd be perfect," he babbles, seizing upon the chance to avoid talking about Certain Things.

"Perfect," Rory grins, pulling out a datebook and making a note. "So, like, if you want to go off-campus or something, you probably ought to call ahead to wherever we're going." She snaps the datebook shut and stifles a yawn. "So, what's up? You wanted to talk to me about something?"

"Right, um. Yeah. I should call the KO-35 HQ, I think that's where everyone else got shifted to..." he sighs, seeing that he can't avoid talking about it anymore. "Uh, it's about last night, actually. I sort of, um. I had your dream."

"You had my dream?" Rory asks, confused. "Is that a metaphor or something? Or...does it have to do with your aura stuff?"

"Uh, the second one," Bridge gestures vaguely. "It was you and Angelus, only I was you, in the dream, and... I saw what happened. That night."

"Oh," Rory says softly, her brows shooting up. "I...wow. I'm - I'm sorry." Her face softens in sympathy. "I mean, I don't think I did anything on purpose to, um, give the dream to you..."

"You don't, you don't need to be sorry! It's not your fault, really, if it's anyone's fault it's mine, for picking up on it."

"Well...in any case, it wasn't a good dream to pick up," Rory winces, remembering. "Bad enough living through it the first time, and then having it repeat itself in my dreams." She glances up at him. "You say you were me?"

"I, yeah, it was like... what Angelus was doing, it felt like it was happening to me, and then I woke up, and I realised it couldn't have been my dream, because it felt... different. Like a memory. But it wasn't mine."

Rory nods. "I'm sorry," she offers. "Not that it was my fault, but...that you had to go through that. I haven't even told anyone the stuff I dreamed about last night. You're the only one who knows other than...him and me, about what happened before Logan got there that night."

"Professor Dream knows," Bridge tells Rory. "I sort of... mentioned it, because I know he has something to do with... well, the name makes it obvious. But he knew what I was talking about without me having to tell him what the dream was *about*."

"Oh, duh," Rory says, slapping her forehead lightly. "Of course he knows." She frowns, and idly fiddles with the collar of her turtleneck next to her healing bite. "I just...um. is there anything I can do? Are you okay, I mean?"

"Just... be safe, okay?" he smiles a little.

Rory returns the smile. "I will. I have a lot of people looking out for me. It's...nice."

"I've noticed," Bridge laughs. "There was like, a whole crew helping out yesterday with the moving."

Rory grins. "Yeah. I have a little army of my own. Comforting, really, since...well, I know perfectly well that I don't stand much of a chance of defending myself. It's good to know I can rely on people stronger and smarter than me."

Bridge sticks his tongue out at her, "actually, I'm pretty sure you're smarter than me," he says.

"We're all smart in different ways," Rory says, used to giving this little talk. "You are so much smarter than me with technical things. I can't program my alarm clock, for God's sake."

Bridge just shakes his head and smiles at Rory. "I've gotta go to Shop now, but um, I'll see you around, okay? Especially now that you're just down the hall!"

Rory nods. "Have fun with Mac. And, um...wear your gloves to sleep," she adds, nodding toward them.
