Sam bent down immediately and put her hand in front of the dog's nose so he could catch her scent. "Oh, who's a beautiful dog?" She began scratching between his ears as she looked over to John. "Whose dog is he?"

Lee grins awkwardly. "It's Cameron, actually."

Sam immediately pulled her hands out of Cameron's...er, fur...and glanced around to make sure Vala wasn't in the immediate vicinity.

"Cameron?"

"That's what John says," Lee replies, nodding his head.

"Oh, for goodness' sake!" She facepalmed. "He was bitten by a hamster yesterday. I assume this is the result."

"A hamster bite did this?!" Lee says, shocked.

She shrugged. "Unless something else happened that I don't know about, I guess so. He's awfully cute this way, though."

Okay, the ear thing was annoying. Cameron leaned into her hand, then got the urge to scratch his ear. He quickly pulled back and barked at Sam again, trying to show the bitemarks on his paw.

After what Lee said, Sam took Cameron's paw in her hands and began to examine it, finally noticing the small bite marks.

"Well, as long as you didn't need to go to the clinic and get it checked out or anything, Cam," she smirked.

Cameron whines and curls a paw over his nose.

"And now I feel guilty," Sam remarked, melting under the power of the canine cuteness. "You're much better at that in your current form, in case you're curious. So, any idea how long this is going to last or who we can talk to to get you undone?"

Cameron shakes his head, but gets distracted as Dream (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/399329.html?thread=18655969#t18655969) comes up to the table and actually adresses him.
