"He's apparently not very happy, though!" Lee says warily.

"That's because that's Cameron," John says and laughs. "He's a dog."

"--the frak!" Lee says, immediately pulling his hands away from petting the poor animal...err... boy...person. "How'd this happen?"

"I have no clue," John admits. "He found his way into my room and bounced on my bed, on my pillows, tried to write something and then I finally figured out what happened. I thought maybe Vala would know if she comes around."

"Yeah -- Vala might actually know how to fix it, shouldn't she?" Lee asks.

Cameron whimpers softly and curls up on the chair, resting his chin on his paws.

"Well, if it's any consolation, Cam," Lee says in all seriousness, "you make a very beautiful dog!"

"He does, doesn't he?" John can't help laughing some more. "D'you think he'll eat dog food too?"

Cameron isn't sure if he's comforted or insulted. He settles for a whiny yawn.

Cameron lifts his chin as he notices Sam. She was there. Without warning, he jumps off the chair and runs over to her.
