"I'm still with Michael," Parker confirms. "I just have a thing for Murray. Jack's adopted brother. He's six-four, gorgeous, built like a tank and has a voice like James Earl Jones. Liz promised she'd get him to come out from Colorado," she watches C.J. carefully as she says this, "if I manage to make it three months without smoking. Possibly in a muscle shirt."

Jack didn't mention him when we did family in class. Hmm. He told me about...other people. No mention of Murray. How's the not smoking going?

"Other people?" Parker frowns, thinking about this. "Hunh. I wonder if..." Then cuts herself off. "It's going okay, actually. If last week didn't make me start again, I don't want to know what will. Which reminds me, I should go torment Drs. Wilson and House into fighting in front of me again. The insult-fest is damn amusing. Plus they owe me lollipops."

Greg and James are so nice. What happened last wee--oh, Angelus. Have you seen Mr. Phale?

"Yes. Angelus, Angel-face, Mr. Wings." Parker makes a face, then sobers. "No, I haven't seen Mr. Phale, although I got a very nice note from him, thanking him for the flowers I sent and I will/have/been talking to him already in a thread we just finished and I'm going over there tomorrow. I'm just glad he's okay. he should have *told* us that what he did was going to mess him up."

I don't think he knew, Parker. I doubt he'd ever done anything like that. So many things happen in this town that have never happened before. I mean, zombies? Cat people? Deep space radar? Time machines? The abnormal is the norm, don't you think?

Parker looks at her sharply at the mention of deep space radar, then relaxes. "So you do know." She shakes her head. "Who told? And I wish they'd told me. God, that's annoying."

Parker focuses, thinking back over the conversation, then smirks. "Shep. O'Nell was pissed off when I found out. Much less a teacher. And Kawalsky never slips up."

Parker rolls her eyes. "I suppose they thought you'd handle it better than a sixteen-year-old. But still. I am going to give O'Neill *such* a talking-to for yelling about me knowing. Loser."
