Study Hall, 11/28

Principal Connor's vacation leaves Dream in charge of study hall, so he unlocks the doors.

Several articles of underwear and a pair of gloves have been strung up at the head of the study hall. Included in the string are: one black bra, a pair of red-and-gold boxers with the Caprica Buccaneers logo, a pair of women's underpants that look like "the unholy bastard child of boxer briefs and a loincloth", a pair of Bugs Bunny boxers and a pair of black gloves. There is no indication of why exactly they are there or to whom they belong.

Shrugging at this, Dream takes a seat with a book and waits for students.

Dressed in distinctly un-Callisto-like clothes, Callisto stalks into Study Hall and sits at the nearest desk.

She is studiously ignoring everything except her books, which is why she doesn't notice that her underwear is hanging out for all and sundry to see.

Because she has to, and because she hasn't gotten a chance to mock yet, Aeryn clears her throat and nods with her head towards the front of the room.

Callisto looks up at Aeryn, then slightly puzzled turns to look at the front of the room. Her eyes widen when she realises what's hanging up there. Turning back, she starts rhythmically banging her head against the desk.

Aeryn's eyes widen and she hisses "Stop that!" but honestly that may be the best reaction she's seen to anything. Ever.

Callisto finally stops, lays her head on the desk and covers it with her arms. For anyone who can see her ears, they are very, very pink.

"Give it two days and no one will even remember this," Aeryn assures her.

Callisto's shoulders shake as if she's try to stifle sobs or hysterical laughter. "Crichton hasn't told you about the pagent yet, has he?" comes the somewhat muffled question.

Aeryn frowns. "What pageant?"

Callisto lifts her head slightly to talk to Aeryn "Thanks to your boyfriend, we have to take part in some freaky religous ritual conducted by the Dean. Possibly involving sheep."

"What kind of ritual?"

"I'm not sure, but Dean Bristow mentioned something about Bridge fathering Cally's children."

Aeryn doesn't say anything for a long time, because she has no idea what any of this means, but leave it to John to be involved/blamed. "I think I need to call John," she says slowly.

Callisto gives Aeryn a very weak grin. "Tell him I said hi," she says before lowering her head back onto the desk.

"Children?" Cameron blinks, he's so missing something.

"He said Bridge was going to be the father to Cally's mother, while Crichton drums, Anders stands in for a village wiseman and I herd sheep."

"That... really doesn't make any sense."

"Uh, she alright?" Cameron asks as he notices Callisto banging her head on the desk.

Aeryn nods. "Just some trauma," she says.

"Oh," Cameron frowns. "Bad?"

Aeryn nods. She may be biting her lip trying not to smile. She may not.

"I'm so missing something here."

She clears her throat. "There was an incident. I'm sure you'll hear about it," she says, looking back at Callisto and wondering whether now is the best time for it.

"Yeah, there's always an incident around here."

"I can't argue there. And this kind of incident says John Crichton all over it," she says, looking to where Cally is trying to retrieve her clothes. "If you'll excuse me, I need to, um... try to get something back."

Cameron watches Aeryn and finally realises what is going on. When he notices the bugs bunny boxers, and knowing they're not his as he's wearing his pair omg, he starts laughing.
