Shop Class, November 22

As you walk into the Danger Room Shop, the first thing you notice is that the air is filled with the delicious smell of roasted turkey.

You then notice that Mac is cooking the turkey by hooking it up to a generator and letting the electric current do the roasting/shocking.

Also? The danger shop looks like a car repair shop.

Mac looks up from basting the turkey and points over to a very large refrigerator.

"In the refrigerator you'll find approximately 12 thawed turkeys. Your assignment today is to find a way to cook a turkey using the tools you would find here."

"I know you kids didn't sign up for Home Ec. But that's today's assignment. Now if you excuse me, I have yams roasting in a solar collector I built out back."

"Just show me what to move." Cally says, scratching the back of her head.

"Prefer to move the smaller bits, though."

"Wanna help me with the goal, then?" asks Anders. "It's a little heavier than the other pieces."

"Teamwork, got it." She taps a finger on Anders' nose. "I can do that, sure."

"Course you can. We work good together." He grins and tips the goal back onto its wheels. "Ready?"

"Ready." Cally grabs hold of the goal and assists Anders in whatever moving is currently being required of her. "How far is it to the gym?"

"Not too far. Mostly I just need you to guide me, 'kay?" Anders starts wheeling the goal out the door. "Don't want to bump into anyone, or anything."

"Right. Doing fine." Cally walks along, one hand on the goal helping guide the movements. "Little to the left, good."

"Careful, there, good, good."

Anders grins all the way down to the gym, and hugs Cally all the way back up to the shop classroom to finish hauling the court pieces.

Cally reluctantly takes off to Bio. "See you tonight, Champ! Have fun with the court!"
