Study Hall -- Friday, November 18th

Pool table, puppies, kittens, pizza, drinks, and loud music. Study hall is pretty chaotic today.

There is also a mechanical device spread out in slightly charred pieces of Sarah's desk. Anybody who looked at her badly scribbled notes might think it was a very crude amateurish attempt at a time machine.

Sarah is nowhere to be seen.

"Well . . ." Anders scratches his head. "It was Bridge's idea, really. I always saw him tinkering with stuff in study hall or the common room or whatever, and then one day I asked him if he could build me a custom door lock. Which is really cool, by the way -- anybody who doesn't have a programmed code and tries to get in will end up in the basement or something. Also, it dispenses gumballs. I'd give you one, but I ran out."

He tilts his head thoughtfully and grins. "Anyway, I guess he figured that other people might be interested in stuff like that, and he talked to me and Cally one night about teaming up. We figured it was a good idea. And we're right here in the dorms, so it's pretty convenient if someone needs to drop something off or pick it up, especially after curfew." Hastily, he adds, "I don't really do much of the fixing unless it involves hitting things with a hammer hard, or lifting stuff. But, you know, that frees up Cally and Bridge to do the rest."

Beka jotted down notes as Anders talked. "Lock that dispenses gumballs. Handy if you're running low on food, I guess. Thanks for the offer." She scrunched her nose.

"OK, so, you'll fix pretty much anything the students bring by. What're your rates like? Do you have any promo material I could look at?"

Anders scratches his head again. "Hmm. For rates you'd have to talk to Bridge, he handles most of that. Though I think, from the cut me and Cally got out of the last job, basic stuff like coffee machines and things is around twenty to thirty dollars. And so far for promo material, all we've got is the posters in the dorms (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/231146.html) so far. I was gonna work on some flyers or business cards, but . . ." He laughs sheepishly. "I keep getting distracted."

[OOC: Guh. Meant to respond hours ago but got wrapped up at work and then went out to see Goblet of Fire. Also, yes. I can type. YES.]
