Sarah has a bunch of electronic equipment spread out on the front desk, She could either be building something or taking it apart -- it could go either way.

Occasionally, she stops to throw a ball to send the puppies and kittens after it and make them stop crawling all over her looking for snuggles.

"Yeah, it's Rogue. Nice to see you again." Rogue fiddles with her bare hands, still not one hundred percent used to the lack of gloves. "So how've you been?"

"I've been good. Feel like I've been out of the loop, y'know."

John glances at her hands.
"No opera gloves today?"

She grins. "Not right now, anyway. Don't need them at the moment.

"You should come to Caritas tonight. It's my first shift, and it'd be nice to see a friendly face."

"Well, the weather's about to turn, so you might need them again, soon."
He paused.
"There's something I'm missing, isn't there." It's not quite a question, not quite a statement.

"Caritas sounds good. Any particular song you'd like me to torture you with?" John's face erupted into an easy grin.

"Well, if you consider the fact that if I touch you right now you won't die 'something missing' then yes." Rogue grins. "That's what the gloves are for, by the way."

She laughs. "No, no particular song. Whatever you feel like singin'. Once Lorne gets there, I might even sing one."

"Well, congrats for that!" He does the 'high five' guesture without even thinking of it.

"Oh, I'll have to think of something extra special, then. So what song, for you? What's on yer mind?"

Rogue taps a finger against her lip. "Hmm. I dunno. What can you sing? Free Fallin' is always a good one."
