Sarah has a bunch of electronic equipment spread out on the front desk, She could either be building something or taking it apart -- it could go either way.

Occasionally, she stops to throw a ball to send the puppies and kittens after it and make them stop crawling all over her looking for snuggles.

After shop class, Anders wanders in holding a slightly acid-eaten mullet wig gingerly between two fingers, and tosses it on the table in front of him. He eyes it suspiciously as he digs into his backpack and pulls out his notebook to study for AbPsych.

"Yo." Cameron slides into a seat beside Anders. He frowns at the mullet as he starts pulling out papers. Man, but he didn't get anything done yesterday.

"What's with the wig?"

Anders shrugs absently. "Had to blow a lock off a box in shop, and got to keep what was inside. Which was this. What the frak I'll do with it, I got no clue."

Turning to Cameron, he asks with the hint of a smirk, "Vala back? I only ask 'cause, like, I haven't seen you in a couple of days . . ."

"Uh, not a great prize."

Cameron grins broadly. "She got back yesterday. Which is why I still have to grade all the essays from last week."

"Good luck, then," laughs Anders. "You got any idea what I should brush up on before this week's class?"

"Thanks," Cameron sighs, but his usual grins is back and not about to go away any time soon if it's up to him. "Nope, Crazy Squid Lady's back in charge and even if I did know, it wouldn't be fair to tell."

"Damn. Oh well." Anders shrugs and rolls a gumball over to Cameron. "Don't let me keep you from those essays, man."

"So kind," Cameron sighs and rolls the gumball around instead of eating it as he stares down at the essays.

"I do try." Anders winks. "I'd offer to help, but I'm kinda up to my neck in homework too."

"Thanks for the thought, I'd have to pass up on it anyway." Cameron wonders if 'suck up' is a grade as he looks over Crane's work. "This is what I get when I let things lie for too long."

Vala slides into the desk next to Cam on the other side, snuggling a kitten and giving Anders a smug little wave. "So, Art Lab got canceled. Whatcha up to, YoYo?"

"Grading," he says and puts the paper down to reach over and pat the kitten.

"Yo," he says with a grin and leans in to kiss Vala hello.

She happily kisses him back, then catches a look at the papers he's grading. "Oh, this is for...," she frowns, "Crazy Squid Lady didn't give you any trouble while I was gone, right?"

"I didn't see her, I had to teach class in her place." He smirks. "You should have been there, it was a fun topic." He lets her read the assignment for the paper he's busy grading.

Vala snickers as she reads ever-more elaborate speculations on CSL's particular brand of batshit crazy. "I love it!" she grins, leaning in for another quick kiss. "You're brilliant!"

Cameron grins as he puts his arm on the back of her chair. "So you don't just like me for my body then?"

"Not just, no," she admits with a grin, sliding one finger along his bicep. "Not that that wouldn't be enough...."

"That's good to know," Cameron grins at her, then sighs as he realises he should be grading. "I need to finish this."

"Hey, Vala." Anders tosses a gumball over at her and goes back to his psych notes.

"Hey, Anders. Where's your symbiotic co-joined twin girlfriend?"

Anders rolls his eyes at her playfully. "Thursday is the day she has class pretty much all day. You know, we do go places separately sometimes."

"Really?" Vala opens her eyes just as wide as they go. "I didn't even know that was still physically possible." Shocked innocence, cranked to the max, as she tosses the gumball in her hand.

Anders turns red and buries his face in his hand. "It is physically possible, believe it or not. Painful, though."
