Sarah has a bunch of electronic equipment spread out on the front desk, She could either be building something or taking it apart -- it could go either way.

Occasionally, she stops to throw a ball to send the puppies and kittens after it and make them stop crawling all over her looking for snuggles.

"Audio," Logan said. "Supposedly pretty convincing. Via one Marty Blank, so you can see why I'm suspicious. You heard from Angelus?"

Bel cupped his hand over his mouth as if covering a yawn. "He's safe," he said in a very low voice. "So you haven't heard this evidence?" he went on. "Any chance you can get a hold of it? Techie people around here could probably fake something pretty easily."

Logan smiled. "Already on it. Should have something by tonight."

"I knew you wouldn't disappoint," Bel said, grinning. "So when do I come by to take a listen to it myself?"

"I'll let you know when I have it," Logan said. He stood up to leave, then paused. "Don't mess with Veronica, Bel. You got a problem with her, let me know. I'll handle it." He sighed. "She means well. Once we straighten this out, she'll be apologizing to Angelus."

"Heh. She damned well better," Bel said. He looked up at Logan. "She apologize to you?"

"She did," Logan acknowledged.

"Well, at least she's sorry when she makes false accusations then," Bel said. "Good to know."

Beka had been watching their expressions mostly, figuring Bel would tell her if he learned something useful. This last caught her attention. Bel was channeling Angelus again, if not quite perfectly. She arched an eyebrow at Bel, not buying the act.

"Maybe one day she'll get the murderer right on the first try," Logan sighed. "Catch you later." He headed out of study hall.
