Sarah has a bunch of electronic equipment spread out on the front desk, She could either be building something or taking it apart -- it could go either way.

Occasionally, she stops to throw a ball to send the puppies and kittens after it and make them stop crawling all over her looking for snuggles.

Jake had intended to go to journalism, but when he arrived at school, he decided that he'd spent way too much time in that room lately, and went to Study hall instead. He absently picked up a confused looking orange kitten that bashed into his foot at high speed, and made his way over to a free table. He placed the kitten on his shoulder and started sorting through his sketches.
