On the students' desks, Charlie has placed mugs of cocoa with itty bitty marshmallows in. He's wearing a knit sweater today, and he has the look of someone who's trying to be way more energetic than he feels like.

"Wallace Fennel has been absent for four consecutive classes and has been kicked out of class, as well as given detention.

Jack O'Neill is still sick, I believe."

Thomasina, who got distracted on her way over to the advanced maths group by the discussion the beginning maths group was having, takes her seat and opens her exercise book. She turns to the boy already seated there and says, Hello - we haven't a project yet, have we?

Lisa reports that she will be discussing potential project ideas with Mr. Flinkman and scoring herself a semi-date later that evening, and will report back with ideas on Friday in class.
