Flight Club [Tuesday, early evening]

Even after a workout in the gym, Anakin was still in a bit of a Mood.

He didn't slam open the door to the Flight Club shed, but it's a near thing.

He took a deep breath, fired up the sim--still set with up with the Jedi Starfighter programming--and waited for the rest of the club to arrive.

"With the new regulations about off-campus travel, and my trip home this weekend, I didn't have a chance to talk with the Dean about how that might effect our work with actual flying. I'll get to that this week. I apologize for not doing so earlier."

He gestured at the flight sim. "You have been making some pretty great strides towards learning the way that the Starfighter flies. I've increased the difficulty of the programs tonight and included a few more combat runs." He rubbed his hands together. "One's so new I haven't even gotten a chance to try it."

Anakin cleared his throat. "Have fun, blow off a little steam. But as always, break the sim and we'll have to have a bit of a discussion."

Ah. Ok. Well, I wasn't... I wasn't there when it happened but...

::pauses:: You know Crichton got to our part of the universe by...by wormhole, right?

Alright. Well, when he... came out of it, he was kinda in the middle of a fight between some Peacekeepers and Moya. Since he came outta nowhere, this...this Prowler hits the side of him and it kinda... made the pilot crash and, well, die. I mean, it wasn't his fault or anythin'. But, you know, apparently the pilot's brother didn't appreciate it much.

"Oh." That wasn't news John would take kindly to hearing, and Aeryn wonders if he really needs to know. "I suppose it's a good thing he can only kill people on accident."

"A thousand things, but they're all fighting to be what actually gets asked," she admits. "So... I left the Peacekeepers willingly to go with you? What did I do after that? With my life, I mean."

Willingly? Well...I guess you could say that.

Hey, don't...don't say it like that. Maybe... maybe you're not a Peacekeeper anymore but that doesn't mean your life is over. You do alot. You do what the rest of us do. You've helped save people, you...you've got friends. Once in a while you actually let yourself have fun! ::grins:: And, hey, most importantly, you have Crichton. When you're not pushing him away, like a fekkik.
