Professor Chaucer, Office Hours

On the off chance that there are still people around who actually want to speak to Professor Chaucer, he can be found holding office hours before and after class today.

Luckily for Chaucer, he's been feeling a pang of sudden guilt inside for a while, it was growing and he was relieved that the man didn't hate him for it. That's all he needed, was to be thrown out of classes because of some freak fight.

"Yeah, I ain't too sure what happened either." a nervous chuckle, "I guess I just had that instictive move to protect her, I felt that she was threatened." a long pause, "I apologize for..hurting you damn bad." a slight frown comes to his face.

Geoff gives a wry smile. "I appreciate your apology for that. I'm all right, though, nothing that time won't heal, and not the first beating I've ever taken either. And as I said, I understand completely your instincts where Paige was concerned. I'd have done exactly the same thing.

Are you going to be all right continuing in my class? Because if you feel the need to transfer out, I'll give you a note with my permission."

Feeling a thousand times lightly, a small smile comes to his face, "No thanks. I'll be staying in your class, I need to bug Paige in anyway possible." a sly grin, "Besides the fact she hates my guts now. I have a horrible temper." he admits with a small smile.

"Give her time, James. People argue, you know. Usually, they make up eventually." He smiles back. "Thank you for staying -- I appreciate the chance to talk this out."

"Thanks to you too, Professor." a soft thankful smile touches his lips, "Would you mind having like, a mans night out sometime? So, I can make up for the..incident." he thinks a bit, "But I'm not too well liked in Town."

"That sounds like an intriguing offer, James, thank you. Why don't we wait until things settle down a little, though," he adds, smiling.

His name being used like that made him wince a bit, "Alright. I better get goin'. See you later." he says before he turns to exit the office.
