Study Hall -- Tuesday, November 15th

The doors to the study hall have been propped open, and the puppies and kittens have taken to bounding up to newcomers and rubbing up against everybody's legs for petting and stealth cybernetic bioenhancement checks. The pool table isn't in the room, but there are decks of cards and chess boards on the front desk for any students done with their schoolwork for the day.

Sarah sits at the front desk playing a handheld electronic Battleship game. Needless to say, she's kicking ass.

"Well, I do have to say I love a good book," Jonathan answers, not completely certain where this is coming from, "I've only been to Mr. Phale's once however. I'm kind of doing something tonight, so I'm afraid I'll have to decline," he tells her looking slightly confused.

"Also, just for my edification, this conversation is about one of two things, please let me know if this is about Bible Study because I'm not quite sure where to go with that if it is. Where as if it's about the other thing... well I still don't know what to do with that but I don't have to figure out whether to be frightened, flattered, oddly turned on or both. Did I just say that all out loud?"

"Pity, that. Some other time, then." She doesn't sound like she cares. Answering his questions, she frowns slightly, considering, "You could say it's a form of bible study, but it would definitely be old testament, dealing with the chapters concerning the serpent in the garden and original sin." and the player will now try not to giggle at how many ways that could be misinterpreted.

Lounging back against her seat, she shakes her head, "Not quite sure we follow what 'the other thing' is, but if it frightens, flatters, and turns you on," her voice is almost a purr. Almost. "We'd have to say it doesn't sound bad. Or odd, for that matter. Fear can be quite intoxicating, when applied properly."

Shrugging a shoulder diffidently, she adds, "Our friend suggested you might share our interest. We met him at the hotel the other night, and your name came up in conversation. He told us we should look you up."

"He told you about me?" Jonathan asks, a bit shocked especially considering the whole town was currently baying for the blood of one sociopath already. he put that aside however, because Mr. Crowley wouldn't put him in jeopardy, or at least he hoped not, "That's kind of him, arranging a playdate for me. I guess we'll definately have to meet up then, if we have so much in common."

"He mentioned he'd met someone from the school who shared our love of books," she agrees, "Imagine his surprise when he found out we already knew you, and imagine our surprise at finding out you shared one of our particular passions. Quite refreshing, really."

She adds nonchalantly, "He seems to care about you quite a great deal. It rather distressed him to hear you'd been bullied." Her hand raises to push an errant snake off her face before returning her attention to him, "And about that.. please do let us know if anyone gives you shit about being defended by a girl. We're given to understand that some people consider it.. unmacho. If the topic comes up, you will send them to have a chat with us, won't you? We'll be quite happy to explain to them in graphic, technicolor detail that we're a gorgon, not a girl."
