Study Hall -- Tuesday, November 15th

The doors to the study hall have been propped open, and the puppies and kittens have taken to bounding up to newcomers and rubbing up against everybody's legs for petting and stealth cybernetic bioenhancement checks. The pool table isn't in the room, but there are decks of cards and chess boards on the front desk for any students done with their schoolwork for the day.

Sarah sits at the front desk playing a handheld electronic Battleship game. Needless to say, she's kicking ass.

Faith tilts her head. "You mean the short blonde from the fashion show?" she chirps, in an almost-passable imitation of Veronica.

"Friendly with Angelus, kinda? Did an interview with him for the paper. I know who she is."

Logan smirks at the likeness. "That's her. She was investigating this. I wouldn't be surprised if she's the one that pointed the finger at Angelus."

Faith narrows her eyes. "That's a really shitty thing to do, considering that she was friendly with him, oh, three days ago. Is that the sort of thing she'd do? I mean, is she that... hardcore, I guess, that she'd be messing with Angelus?"

Logan leans back in the chair with a bitter smile. "She had me hauled in for murder while we were dating."

"Oh," Faith says, lamely. "I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume incorrectly, seeing as you're here, not that that means much. So, she's a little investigator who causes trouble, investigates, and incorrectly accuses her friends of murder. Yeah, real reliable source."

"Yep, incorrectly," Logan confirms. "The actual murderer was caught soon after. And I think you're seeing my point. An incompetent sheriff and little miss Nancy Drew are about to get Angelus lynched."

Faith nodded. "I wonder how common knowledge this is. And if there's any way for it to become more so without me seeming like a lying bitch."

Logan shrugged. "Don't know. Wouldn't mind a few more people knowing, myself."

"I think I'm going to have to get on that," Faith thought out loud.

"Alright," she said, standing up. "It's been wonderful talking with you, but I've got people to talk to, things to find- you know. If I hear anything interesting, I'll let you know."
