Study Hall -- Tuesday, November 15th

The doors to the study hall have been propped open, and the puppies and kittens have taken to bounding up to newcomers and rubbing up against everybody's legs for petting and stealth cybernetic bioenhancement checks. The pool table isn't in the room, but there are decks of cards and chess boards on the front desk for any students done with their schoolwork for the day.

Sarah sits at the front desk playing a handheld electronic Battleship game. Needless to say, she's kicking ass.

"Yep." Bridge nods seriously, "giraffes are from Neptune, apparently."

(ooc: was up alllll night working on phonology. which is exactly why bridge is not in the linguistics class. it drives me insane enough irl.)

"Neptune, huh?" John laughs. "Would make sense. Nothing can have that long of a neck and not be from a foreigh planet."

"Yeah. In fact, it says here," he points to page nine, "that their necks are actually made of papier-mache."

(ooc: he is teh smrtz! and this is totally a real book on giraffes that bridge is reading.)

"Papier mache?" John frowns and looks at the book. "Doesn't sound very strong to hold something as heavy as a giraffe neck and head up."

"Well, maybe there's not very much in their heads?" Bridge suggests. "Or something. This book is kind of problematic... I'm not entirely sure I believe the part where their legs are filled with fruit juice."

John laughs again. "Fruit juice? Does it say what kind of fruit juice? That might make all the difference in the world."

"Pineapple, boysenberry, and mango-lemon," Bridge lists solemnly.
