Study Hall -- Tuesday, November 15th

The doors to the study hall have been propped open, and the puppies and kittens have taken to bounding up to newcomers and rubbing up against everybody's legs for petting and stealth cybernetic bioenhancement checks. The pool table isn't in the room, but there are decks of cards and chess boards on the front desk for any students done with their schoolwork for the day.

Sarah sits at the front desk playing a handheld electronic Battleship game. Needless to say, she's kicking ass.

Callisto wanders into Study Hall. After pausing to scratch one of the puppies behind the ears, she flops into a chair across from Bridge. "Hey."

"Hey Callisto!" Bridge looks up from his book with a grin. "What's up?"

"Not much." Callisto shrugs, grinning back. "No more games of lightball with gremlins, at least."

"That was pretty cool. Weird, but cool." Bridge shakes his head in bemusement. "Did you know giraffes are one of the worlds Most Misunderstood Aminals Animals?" he asks.

"Tell me about it, but fun." Callisto's brow furrows. "Giraffes?"

"Giraffes. They're, um, big, tall..." he gestures vaguely. "See, it says so right here..." he slides the book over to Callisto. "And I'm glad you had fun with the game."

Callisto leans over to look at the book. As she reads she bites her lip to keep from giggling. "This is an interesting book." She looks back up at Bridge. "We don't have anything like it back home, but something about throwing around balls of light... It was just very, very cool."

Bridge bounces a little in his seat, "At least someone else recognises the inherent coolness of the whole thing," he says, and laughs.

"How could they not?" Callisto leans back in her chair and gestures enthusiastically as she speaks. "It's... it's flinging a ball of light around!"
