Study Hall, 11/14

Dream has thrown on the doors to study hall and is sitting at a table near the front, paging through a book.

As part of his quest to cut down on the caffeine consumption at the school, he's put a range of juices, bottled water, and caffeine-free sodas throughout the room.

Phoebe looks up and realizes she's standing way at the wrong end of Study Hall. She sees Cole's look and gives a quizzical one back at him.

"Hey, Pheebs," Beka said grinning. "Seems a few people are raising eyebrows over the gossip column. They might be thinking I wrote it."

Phoebe laughed softly.

"I figured that most would think you wrote it and be wondering how you could be so brazen right under OMG my nose."

That surprised a laugh out of her.

"Mean, Pheebs." She gave her a tight hug, resisting the urge to kiss her temple and fuel more speculation. "I've been telling people you just wanted people to know you were totally cool with me and Cole being so close."

Phoebe hugged her just as tightly. "Mean, nothing. I've heard the stupid people running off at the mouth." She shrugged. "If I can't add speculation to their tiny minds, then that makes it look like I *do* have a problem with how close you two are."

She grinned at the both of them.

"Besides...rumours of the three of us in a menage a trois? It amuses me greatly."

"Wanna sit on my lap, little girl?" Beka said, smirking, and patting her thigh.

In a more serious tone, she offered: "I do love you, sister-soul. And you, Bel."

"Huh? What?" Bel blinked, shaking his head as if to clear his mind of daydreams.

Phoebe takes a seat.

"I love you, too, Beka."

And back to the daydreams.

Phoebe grinned and leaned over to kiss Cole. "Glad to see you're not mad at me."

"No, just a little surprised," he said as he returned the kiss.

When Phoebe sat up again, Beka leaned over and kissed her cheek. "Who could be mad at you, beautiful?"

Beka smiled fondly at the two of them. And would totally have made a pass at them both if they weren't in Study Hall.
