Study Hall, 11/14

Dream has thrown on the doors to study hall and is sitting at a table near the front, paging through a book.

As part of his quest to cut down on the caffeine consumption at the school, he's put a range of juices, bottled water, and caffeine-free sodas throughout the room.

"Hey, Crichton." Anders chucks him a gumball and waves. "What's up today?"

John catches the gumball and pops it in his mouth. "Nothing much. I'm commissioning ABC to fix my wreck of a toaster."

"Ah, cool." Anders nods. "Better leave that to the B section of ABC, if you know what I mean."

"Yo Anders, how's the pyramid thing going? When do you and Kara get the tryout?"

"It's goin' pretty good. We still haven't heard back from the league yet, though. Hopefully this week if the muns can actually get their shit together and compose the letter, OMG. I really hope so, 'cause I want to get our training routine a lot more focused." He does a weird head-bob thing and fiddles with his pencil. "Ran into Aeryn yesterday at the Perk, by the way. How are things going with you guys?"

John smiles softly. "Things are good. Very good. I'm happy, she makes me happy, and I think I do the same for her. It's going well. And how's the 'C' in ABC?"

Anders's smile pretty much matches John's. "She's great. Best thing that ever happened to me."

Even though he told Cameron earlier, he can't resist telling John as well, because he's just so damn proud of it: "We kind of pretty much moved her stuff into my room yesterday. Official as it gets without actually filing through Res Affairs."

"Whoa, big step." John grins and pats Anders on the shoulder. "Don't go leaving the toilet seat up now," he says and laughs.

"That's exactly what Camboy said." Anders shakes his head. "And I grew up with an older sister who would beat on me for leaving the toilet seat up, so no worries there."
