Rose wanders into class and waits for Thomasina before setting anything up.

Thomasina signs her name to the class roster and walks over to join Rose at their usual laboratory table. She sets down her exercise book, opens it to the page with the notes for the experiment, and surveys the supplies that have been laid out for them. Then she turns to Rose. Hello, Rose. I believe we have all the supplies we need - do you see anything missing?

Thomasina returns Rose's smile. Well. Which set of samples do you wish to begin with? Oh, and shall we start with the fossil-record or the carbon-dating method?
