Journalism Class - Friday November 11

Spider appears to have almost finished with his colored arrows and little diagrams and the plans he was working on looked very different now. With a decidedly smug look on his face, he folded it away and reached for his coffee.

"Please remember that homework is due tonight by midnight," he began. "Today, I'd like to see several of you produce a faux headline for next week's student newspaper that you'd love to see and which you also think would produce a great deal of interest and perhaps boost circulation." Spider paused. "Try to keep it from actually being libelous."

Thanks to the movie they watched in speech, D'anna slips into class about an hour after it's begun. She takes a coffee refill from the machine in back and then takes a seat. "The Chef's Secrets Revealed - an Odyssey into the Mind of a Mad Muppet might work. Someone could find out what makes the man tick and where he gets his, ummm, unique tastes in culinary arts from," she offered in response to the day's assignment. Then, removing her laptop from her now back to normal rucksack, she logs into the NY Times website and sets to work.
