Breakfast in the Spider's Parlour

Continued from this entry for legibility reasons.

Phoebe pulls a pack out of her jacket and tosses it to Pyro.

"Mostly to upset Grams."

She then looks to Spider to hear the answer.

"Goes without saying," Krycek said, watching the arc of the pack through the air. "Were you going to answer my question, sir?"

And Pyro caught the pack easily, grinning at Phoebe. "Hey, thanks!"

... not that he smoked, because living in headquarters with Sabretooth had pretty much made it impossible to do anything without being snarled at angrily, and the Prof had been obsessed with preventing lung carciloma or carcinoma or whatever the hell that stuff was called, but still. It was the principle, and he'd just been given stuff that burned really, really, really well. Cigarette smoke didn't have the same bouquet to it that wood smoke did, but it was still pretty good, with just a hint of paper smoke to it.

"Anything we want?" And hell, that just opened up a huge realm of possibilities.

Phoebe was grinning and her eyes were a little darker, which anyone who knew her would know well enough that it wasn't a good grin as it was before. That type of grin meant trouble.

She echoed Pyro's sentiments.

"Sounds like a plan." Grinning as well, Krycek sat up slightly, actually looking forward to this.

From Spider's warning, Phoebe's slight change in expression, and Pyro's unadulterated glee, Krycek thought that any hazard pay would be well earned, but most certainly entertaining.
