At the front desk, Sarah is killing time reading "Lucifer's Hammer" and shooting a dart gun with the little rubber darts at passing students without looking. The puppies and kittens are scampering around the floor in a playful mood, looking for people to pick them up.

Han is in an excellent mood as he arrives in study hall. He ducks a rubber dart with a grin at Principal Conner, scoops up the squashy faced black kitten that meows at him and goes to sit and work on homework.
