At the front desk, Sarah is killing time reading "Lucifer's Hammer" and shooting a dart gun with the little rubber darts at passing students without looking. The puppies and kittens are scampering around the floor in a playful mood, looking for people to pick them up.

Kiki walks past, carefully ignoring Draco, carrying a grey tiger and with Jiji trotting at her heels. After playing with both for a bit, she pulls out some paper and seems to be attempting to write something, without much success, based on how often she's scratching out marks on the paper.
