Hi everyone. Welcome to Science Club, I hope everyone had an okay week, all things considered.

This week our experiment is homemade infrared goggles. There are some warnings and other handouts next to all the materials, you might want to read them first.

Oh, and a quick disclaimer. You get busted doing something shady in the girls locker room with these, you are on your own. I don't know you.

Marty walks into the room and waves at Cuddy and takes a chair and places it in front of the chemical storage closet.

"Don't mind me Cuddy. I'm just here to observe and make sure Jonathan Crane no one takes anything out of the store room that they shouldn't be taking"

Lisa gives him a curious, sideways glance. "Do I really want to know?"

"You remember our conversation that we had not too long ago, right?" Marty says with a knowing glance. "Dean Bristow thought it might be a good idea to have some here to watch Jonathan Crane and make sure no one was stealing from the supply cabinet again. Professor Sidle was quite angry about that so... here I am."

"Yeah..." she drawls. "I remember. It's a good idea, just to be safe. Although I can't imagine who would be stupid enough to steal from the labs now, with the Dean and Professor Sidle keeping an eye on things. They are both... Samuel L. Jackson voice : scary motherfuckers intense."

"Look, Marty, I know you think it's... He's really not a bad guy, illicit internet pornography aside. He saved my life over Halloween. I don't think he'd hurt anyone, really."

She gives Marty an awkward smiling, feeling a little less guilty about casting suspicion on Crane in the first place.

Marty walks over to Cuddy and speaks softly so no one else can hear him. "Look Cud- Lisa. I know that Crane puts on a good act, but honestly? Your statement to me isn't the reason why I know he's the one who did this. So... Just be careful around him. Okay?"

She draws a hand up to her face, rubbing both of her temples with one hand for a moment. "You can call me Cuddy. I don't care either way."

She pulls her hand down and looks at Marty with a tired, frustrated glance, "Is there anyone or anything at this school I don't have to be careful around?"

Marty thinks about this for a long time before answering. "I'm thinking the safest thing on this campus? Dean Bristow's or Principal Connor's office," he says with a small grin.

Her laugh is hollow. "Right, I'll keep that in mind. I'm sure the Dean wouldn't mind if I came over in my jammies for an extended sleepover. Think he likes John Hughes movies? We could watch The Breakfast Club together while I do my homework and he paints his nails."

"Actually he's more of a fan of 'Pretty in Pink'. I think it's because he can relate to Jon Cryer."

"Wow, you beter hope this room isn't bugged. And knowing our administration, it definitely is."

"Aww. Bristow likes me. His stone like face almost twitched one time when I was in his office."

He did give you a cavity search, did he not? Some men like to mix business and pleasure.

"Maybe he was allergic to something... like, let's say, your bullshit?" she smiles sweetly.

Marty thwaps his hand to his chest as though mortally wounded.

"Oh! Now you're just being mean! How can you say such a thing."

Actually it was just a pap smear. The good news is I don't have cervical cancer.
