Shop Class #8: Pumpkin Madness

As the students enter into the Danger Room Shop, they find that it has been transformed into a large field. On one side of a field is a barn with a large bullseye painted on it. On the other side of the field a series of markers, much like you would see at a golf driving range.

Everyone's flinger is setup where they left it and a large pile of pumpkins sits next to each one.

Mac tosses a pumpkin in the air with a grin.

"Okay kids... Let's have some fun."

Sam jolted forward slightly as she felt a quick, light pressure on the back of her head. She whirled around, hearing a soft thump, only to find a cracked pumpkin on the ground at her feet behind her.

She looked around quickly and glanced up at the ceiling, just in case.

*DEATH notes with disappointment that throwing the pumpkin is neither fashionable nor effiecient. Sitting down with another pumpkin and what remains of his project - left over t-shirt, his lighter and some gasoline, he considers the problem carefully.

Removing one of his ribs to use as drill bit, DEATH begins boring a hole in the pumpkin, filling it slightly with gasoline, stuffs some of the t-shirt into the hole and lights it.

The pumpkin explodes, splattering pumpkin remains in all directions.*

Sam calmly wiped pumpkin out of her eyes and spit a seed out of her mouth. She had a suspicion that there were also pumpkin guts in her hair.

She grabbed a handful of pumpkin guts off of her left shoulder and threw it.

*DEATH, who had been grinning at his accomplishment (not much of a feat, since he is always grinning), is suddenly greeted by a skull-full of pumpkin mush.

He arranges it on top of his skull, much like a pumpkin-mush hat, thinking it quite festive.*
