Shop Class #8: Pumpkin Madness

As the students enter into the Danger Room Shop, they find that it has been transformed into a large field. On one side of a field is a barn with a large bullseye painted on it. On the other side of the field a series of markers, much like you would see at a golf driving range.

Everyone's flinger is setup where they left it and a large pile of pumpkins sits next to each one.

Mac tosses a pumpkin in the air with a grin.

"Okay kids... Let's have some fun."

Um... DEATH's machine can only be used once. However, he can always bore a hole into the pumpkins for later trials, fill them with gasoline, stuff them with more t-shirt and just make pumpkin bombs... he'll rationalize it, of course, in usual DEATH-y manners.

Hee! Um... you realize as amusing I find this it doesn't really go with the project. You still get an A+ for originality though.

Let's hold off on the pumpkin bombs, but Death can hurl as many pumpkins as he wants when the pumpkin battle (if it happens) occurs.

Hey now! My project was too within the parameters of the project! You wanted an aparatus, made from stuff in a junk yard, that would fling a pumpkin.

My pumpkin has been flung! Just, in lots of directions at once. You never said it had to be reusable. :P

And that's fine - tis why I asked afterall, since I figured improvising mid-project might be pushing it. You catch me in moods like this, and you get things like, oh, exploding pumpkins. Glad to be a source of amusement.

Hope you don't mind the slowplay on the Callynanders Chucker 4000, since it's pretty much a tag-team effort and mun-schedules do not always jive well enough to make things run quickly during the day.

Nah that's fine. This whole thing will be slow played for everyone's benefit. I'm looking forward to seeing Bridge!mun's explanation on who his coffee cannon works.
