Band Practice - Thursday afternoon

Since no one from Pool of Leaves showed up last week, you guys can play "God Gave Rock 'N Roll To You" by KISS.

Bill and Rufus are here again ~~and are going to actually interact this time~~ to help you dudes out.

[OOC: This week will just be interaction. I will be actually interacting with whoever shows up this time. :)]

Ted is totally out of it today, so very little of what he says will make sense.. unless you're a zen master or are stoned.

"Hey, Professor Ted," Lilly says as she enters the room. "Sorry about not showing up last week."

"No problem, Lilly!" See? He was learning names. "No one else from your band showed up either, so you didn't miss anything. You still wanna play bass?"

"Oh, great." Lilly nodded. "I don't really know how to play, like, at all, but I'll totally try to."

"Bass is easy. I'll write up an easy bass line for you to practice, dudette."

"Awesome! I'm sure I won't be like, totally awful at it or anything."

"You'll do great!"

Oz wanders in to the band practice room and looks around for his band mates, hopes he didn't relly miss anything by skipping class last week.

"Oz dude! I thought you got, like, sucked into that bogus locker or something."

Oz looks a little sheepish.

"Nah. I just...had something to do last week."

"That's good news, dude. Idle hands do.. something. But you're back! That's excellent. You guys didn't come up with a song to play, so you're gonna play God Gave Rock 'N Roll To You by KISS. There's some most excellent guitar parts in there dude."

"Works," Oz nodded. He wasn't a huge KISS fan, but he respected their music.

Rufus is looking as cool and calm as usual. He does, of course, have his sunglasses on even though he's inside.

"Greetings," he said to the gathered students.

Connor nods. "Greetings," he returns, and looks aound for his brother.

Who just snuck up behind Connor and ruffled his hair all out of place, heheh.

He nods a hello to the other man while trying to avoid any twin retaliation.

Well, now the wheels are spinning, a retaliation being planned. For now, though, Connor just looks annoyed, but in a playful way.

"Ted tells me you gentlemen have prior music experience?"

"Aye," Connor answers for the both of them. "Nothing formal. Just...you know. Fooling around."

"That's the best way to learn," Rufus assured him. "So who's taking on the role of lead guitarist and who's taking on the role of lead vocalist?"

"I sing. He plays." Connor jerked a thumb at his brother. "Usually."

"'Cause he's th' better singer, while I play better than him."

Murphy smirks, shrugs and goes back to tuning his guitar.

"Excellent. So, are you gentleman ready to make music?"

Sonia smiles and nods to Rufus. "Hallo."

She busies herself tuning up and looking over her sheet music.

"Greetings," Rufus said, nodding his head respectfully. "You're the violinist I've heard so much about. Ted speaks very highly of you, and for Ted that.." He had the hint of a smile on his face. "Takes some effort."

Callisto comes in after leaving Biology. She does not look like she ran the entire way there.

"Ah. The drummer. Welcome." Rufus gestures for Callisto to join them. "Now we can get started."

Bill is back for another week. This time he's totally hyped up and can't wait to jump in. "Dude!" he shouted at Lindsey. "Dude!" he shouted at Sawyer. "Babe," he grinned at Paige.

Paige smiles at Bill then turn to Sawyer to see what his reaction to him calling her a babe was.

Sawyer glares at Bill like no other, his eyes telling the boy to call her that again and see what happens; it's apparent what he can do, his hands bandaged from the other day in Study Hall.

He turns to Paige, "So, what are we going to do?"

Paie notices the look, part of her wants to tell him to get a grip, the other feels sort of touched, she gives Bill and apologetic look before anwering Sawyer

"Well we had agreed on In Your Room by Depeche Mode, but I Feel you work work too, I've already started on the synth parts on my laptop for In Your Room though."

"And I..need to repractice my drumming." he crumples a piece of paper and lightly tosses it over to Paige, "I haven't played since..damn, since I was about 15."

Paige smiles at him as she catches the note "I'm sure you'll be fine, the drums parts are that complicated I don't think. I'll lend you the CD then you can practise with my backing CD.I did you one too," she adds to Lindsey

Cool, thanks. Should be helpful.

Paige smiles and pulls one of the CDs out of her bag and hands it to him

"Yeah," Bill adds after Paige. "Drumming is totally easy if you practice, dude. Way easier if the babe gives you a CD to play along with."

"Paige." he growls, half-standing from his seat, "Paige is her name." he reminded Bill darkly.

Paige looks over at Sawyer and places her arm across his chest "Yeah I do prefer Paige actually" she tells Bill.

Then she turns back to Sawyer "leave it baby, some people are just like that." she says quietly "he doesn't mean anything by it"

Who knew what was up with him these day, being so damn protective. He sighed and took his seat again.

Paige kisses him on the cheek and smiles, "thank you." she whispers, thanking him for both sitting down and for being so protective in the first place

"Oh." Bill was still grinning stupidly. "Sorry dude." He looked at the babe. "Paige. Babe. Ma'am." He was trying, at least.

Bill is totally oblivious to any death glares and keeps grinning. He's excited about teaching.

*Lindsey nods to the scarily enthusiastic guy*

Hey.

"Hey.. effemininate dude. I'm Bill!"
