Hello.

I know the past week has been a difficult one for many of you, as it was for me; I hope we can start fresh again today.

Classics: I have discovered an excellent text for our Greek study, Elementary Greek. Please review lessons one through three. Much of this material should not be new to you.

Languages of Asia: We will be transitioning from our unit on Chinese into a study of Japanese. As an introduction, I would like to review the roots of the three very distinct writing styles used in modern Japanese.. Dream goes on to lecture on this topic.

Sam signed in and began studying the textbook. Thankfully, some of the Greek was actually starting to look familiar.

Anders signs in and nods to Sam, having seen her not all that long ago on the morning run. He's pretty comfortable with the Greek by now, and the new study material is helping to clear up some of his questions.

Connor isn't sleeping well. At all. There are bags under his eyes. His hair is a mess. But he's in class, signe in, and in his usual seat with a tall cup of coffee.

Murphy looks to be in about the same shape as his twin. But he's in class, signed in, and seated a couple of chairs over with a tall cup of coffee.

Sonia signs in, then busies herself studying the vocabulary. After some time, she pulls a small sheet of paper with ancient Greek scrawled across it and begins cross-referencing some of the words. Her computer is still giving her problems (http://www.livejournal.com/users/soniabelmont/6443.html), and she's considering asking Dream for assistance in fixing it.
