Criminal Justice Project, The Danger Shop, Late Sunday Morning
*The Tick greets the students as they enter the viewing area in the Danger Shop. Their lives will not be in peril if gravity decides to act up mysteriously during the simulations.*
"Welcome, class. I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the projects. A few clarifications with grading, though. The limit for ACME products was three, so if you used more, points will be deducted. However, if an item was chosen as part of a back-up plan, you will get extra credit. Preparedness is the key, and having a back-up plan is always a good idea! Especially when fighting a fiendish foe like this!
"Also, any projects that were specifically looking to kill the Road Runner," with this, The Tick gave a quick look to Jaye, "will have points deducted.
"Okay, class! Let's get started!"
As the Danger Shop loads the scenery, a poster appears:

When the scene loads, the shop is transformed into the American Southwest landscape as envisioned by Chuck Jones. Roads, cliffs, ACME trucks, the whole thing. And then, in the distance, a blur kicks up a lot of dirt as it speeds into view.
The Tick takes out his list of projects and hits a button.
[OOC: Any final IC thoughts after viewing the projects can go here.]

Jack's Project
Re: Jack's Project
CoyoteJack takes a couple ACME Super Speed Vitamins (http://home.nc.rr.com/tuco/looney/acme/supers.html) as the Road Runner passes and the chase is on. After closing the gap, CoyoteJack pulls out an ACME Strait-Jacket Ejecting Bazooka (http://home.nc.rr.com/tuco/looney/acme/strait.html), takes aim, and fires.
The Road Runner steps to the side and stops, letting the strait-jacket pass by. CoyoteJack can't stop that quickly, though, and he is moving faster than the jacket. The jacket wraps around CoyoteJack as he hits it, wrapping him up.
The Road Runner gives a mocking "Meep! Meep!" and speeds away.
Vala's Project
Re: Vala's Project
The Road Runner arrives. He sees the birdseed and zips into the invisible cage to eat. As he finishes up and turns around with a "Meep! Meep!", Vala drops some water on the pill, revealing it to be an ACME Dehydrated Boulder (http://home.nc.rr.com/tuco/looney/acme/dehydrated.html). The Road Runner zips straight into the sudden obstruction, earning a concussion and knocking himself out. CoyoteVala closes the cage door, victorious.

Marty & Janet's Project

Re: Marty & Janet's Project
Considering the speeds of the runners, CoyoteJanet pushes the anvil off the edge of the overpass just as CoyoteMarty runs under the bridge. CoyoteMarty barely clears the falling anvil when it hits...
But the Road Runner was standing unharmed, having stopped inches in back of where the anvil landed. He yells "Meep! Meep!" turns around, and runs off. With the anvil in the way, CoyoteMarty would be unable to get the jump he needed to pursue.
The Road Runner escapes, but at least the anvil didn't land on CoyoteMarty's head.

Cam's Project
Re: Cam's Project
The Road Runner approached, and stopped sharply in the middle of the glue due to CoyoteCam's preparations. There is a hint that if he had run full-speed through the glue, it would have all been pulled up off the ground and landed on CoyoteCam. This didn't happen, though, so CoyoteCam dropped the anvil, knocking the Road Runner out.
Unfortunately, there was now no way of bringing the Road Runner in until a road crew could show up to unstick him from the ground.

Jaye's Project
Re: Jaye's Project
The new Road Runner sped up to the birdseed and stopped to eat, as he must always do. CoyoteJaye snuck up behind him holding an anvil (http://home.nc.rr.com/tuco/looney/acme/anvils.html) to bash him with, just in case.
The Road Runner finished his meal, turned around, shouted "Meep! Meep!" in CoyoteJaye's face, and sped off. CoyoteJaye was startled by this and dropped the anvil on her foot. If she weren't busy swearing about broken toes, she would have noticed that the aspirin remained in a pile, untouched by the Road Runner.
Once the pain subsided a little, she called the ACME Babysitting Service (http://home.nc.rr.com/tuco/looney/acme/baby.html) and tried to convince them to pick up the Road Runner and force him to watch children until he decided to kill himself. They hung up on her.
The Road Runner had escaped with his life.

Aeryn's Project
Re: Aeryn's Project
Having found where the Road Runner lives, CoyoteAeryn sets a trap with military precision. First she created an unbreachable perimeter with ACME Blasting Powder (http://home.nc.rr.com/tuco/looney/acme/blasting.html), then hooking up an ACME Detonator (http://home.nc.rr.com/tuco/looney/acme/detonator.html). Finally, she loaded a gun she had found with ACME Elephant Bullets (http://home.nc.rr.com/tuco/looney/acme/elephant.html).
CoyoteAeryn set off several explosions, scaring the Road Runner out of his nest. She took several shots at his legs, looking to take him down hard. Because she was using elephant bullets and the target was a bird, the bullets decided not to hit, but the point had been made. The Road Runner surrendered with his wings up, scared out of his little birdy mind.

Anakin's Project
Re: Anakin's Project
And then he waited.
Finally, a new Road Runner sped over to the birdseed, stopped, and started pecking away. Within seconds, the Road Runner was unable to lift his beak from the seed. He was trapped.
CoyoteAnakin stood there victorious, wearing his Female Road Runner Suit and holding a smokescreen bomb. Then the bomb went off. At least nobody could see him standing there in his disguise any more.
The Tick spoke up. "Anakin had also devised a back-up plan involving an ACME Rocket Sled (http://home.nc.rr.com/tuco/looney/acme/rocketsled.html). Let's see how that would have worked out!"
What follows is a fourteen-minute chase sequence featuring CoyoteAnakin driving the sled like a podracer. Around the ninth minute, it started to get boring, but then the sled lost a runner, so it became exciting again as CoyoteAnakin used The Force to balance his vehicle.
After another several minutes of near crashes and finally an explosion, CoyoteAnakin flipped out of the flaming wreck, landed in front of the Road Runner, and knocked the fugitive out with a well-aimed Force Push.
It. Was. AWESOME.

Final Thoughts and Thanks
"With Rory's help, I should have grades for this project next week. Thank you for your time, and once again, well done!"
