"I had Broots check around police stations, to see what they used for Tazer practice. I had them up the coating, because I wasn't sure it would be enough, this is about three times as thick." Parker looks pleased. "We'll see how long they last, but since you'll be the only one using them, they shouldn't break any time soon."

Cocking her head, she added, "Your goof of a boyfriend was in here earlier. I think he wanted to try some shooting, but was too nervous. He said he'd talk to you about it."

Aeryn raises an eyebrow. "He came in here willingly? No one had to drag him? Or had one of these to his head?"

Parker laughed. "He came in to give me a hard time, as usual. Then admitted that he wasn't sure about using a gun. He's afraid of hurting someone. I told him to talk to you, so expect a discussion at some point in the future."

"I'm sure he probably used one during zombie weekend, but I'm not sure I could see him with one," she says, shaking her head. She pauses. "He's not going to end up wearing gold pants again for whatever he said, is he?"

Parker coughs, then chortles. "No, no. Actually, I don't think Crichton's going to be betting against me again. Heh. Unfortunately. He looked good in those pants." She cocks her head. "Well, it's not like it wouldn't be a useful skill around here. For gremlin-hunting, if nothing else."

"Very true. On all counts," she adds as an afterthought. Though the pants will still be burned, if she has anything to say about it.

"You never know when zombies will attack again." She fires off another shot. "I really like this target."

"Glad you're happy with it." Parker grins, and moves away. "Come find me if you want to do the regular target shooting again."
