In lieu of a lecture and lab today, I'm here for anyone who needs to talk to someone. You are free to leave if you wish.

Grissom pops his head in the door, noticing that Sara is not lecturing. He waits for her students to sign in and takes a tentative step inside. "Do you need anything?"

Same thing everyone else needs. Answers. *She sighs, shaking her head.*

He nods his head in agreement, sharing her frustration. "I just wanted to stop by and check in; I have my surgery tomorrow, so I'll be in the Clinic for the weekend. But with everything going on I thought I should stop by before I am out of commission."

It's not much, but it is meaningful gesture for him.

"Ahhhh... no, you don't have to do that." He looks a bit embarassed, as he will be sedated or under painkillers, and in a medical gown, and therefore, yeah, freaked a little bit.
