Sonia is just about to take her seat when she sees the Doctor jump up and bash something small that has just scurried out from under his desk. She just stares at the (now flat and rather sticky) thing on the floor.

Sonia raises an eyebrow- she knew her comment probably ranked high on the list of "Stupidest Questions Asked," but there was a particularly nasty look in the professor's eye. She moves back a step, not quite sure how (and just a little scared) to respond.
