Something to remember about political science is that it is impossible to seperate it from other studies such as philosophy and theory simply because they all impact each other in different ways.

One such way is religion. It has been a part of politics in some fashion in every system, even as an absence. That is our topic today: Politics in religion. First part - History. Does anyone have any examples?

Illyana is silent and then she starts speaking in a flat voice. "Where I come from, religion and history are blended together. Therefore that is politics. Sometimes it is religion that rules by force...unfortunately."

Well, we're supposed to have the whole seperation of church and state thing here in the US, right? Built into the Constitution and everything, so it helped to form the government and politics right from the beginning.
