Don't Be Evil [Friday, Second Period]

When Oz's class arrived at the classroom today, they would have found him seemingly fast asleep at his desk.

What to do? What to do?

Bart got to class on time today, maybe even a little early. He needed the early morning run.

So when he saw Oz sleeping and no one around, he sat at a desk, put his big feet up and pulled out a comic book to read.

Well... since he was here anyhow, Warren figured that he might as well make use of his time by pulling out his phone and checking his stocks.

And maybe playing some Angry Birds on mute. So what?

Natalie was going to sit quietly, yes. It was what she usually did anyway.

She was even doing something that looked like taking notes, though closer inspection would reveal that it was just a to-do list for the next few weeks.

Jason was tempted to leave, but he could sense a trap, so he stayed right where he was, doodling in his notebook.

Nico was sorely tempted to just flee, but he thought it might be more fun to scowl at Jason for sticking around and maybe see if he could mess up his drawing by flicking bits of paper toward his desk.

Jason gave Nico a playful scowl as one of the bits of paper landed, and took a quick glance at Oz to make sure he was still sleeping before flicking the paper back at Nico.

Sam didn't mind sitting quietly. He didn't have anything else to do and it gave him the perfect escape from looking around and focusing on someone else who was in the class.

Yeah, okay then. Peter wasn't going to let the teacher waste his time, but he wasn't planning to run off either - it was Oz, after all.

Instead, he'd sit here and draft up some replies to emails Locke had received. With pen and paper. How quaint and old-fashioned.

Yeah, 'bye, class. Topher didn't think Mr. Programs-The-Walls-To-Make-Baby-Noises-When-His-Students-Have-The-Worst-Headaches-Of-Their-Entire-Lives was really asleep, but an out was an out.
