Given the number of ghost stories I've heard recently, I'm intrigued. Find an eyewitness to events at the Halloween Ball and interview them. Use their statement to either support or disprove the claim of ghosts/hauntings/possession.

"She left me a message," Logan says with concern. "We talked last night." He changes the subject. "The not-Rory was very different from Rory, that's all I can say on that. And the vampires were about to go at it with us in the room, but they got hit with a sleeping spell of some kind?" He shakes his head. "Weird-ass house, let me tell you."

"It sounds weird," Angela says. "I'm definitely glad I didn't go. I get enough weird already."

"One of the owners at that new Russian place looks exactly like this guy I used to date. He was ... not that much like Jordan."

She looks at the assignment again, and frowns. "So ... you think it was definitely ghosts, right? Not, like, spiked punch, or special effects?"

"Most of it could've been special effects or drugs," Logan admits. "I didn't peek behind the curtains or anything. "But there was one thing - I don't think it could've been anything but magic." He holds up his hand to show a faded red welt across his palm. "Some writing appeared in a book, and I became a vampire. When I touched a cross, it burned me. The same cross I'd been carrying around all night."

Angela bends her head, inspecting the wound. "That's ... really strange." She furrows her brow. "You aren't a vampire now, right? I mean, you've been outside and -- does this bother you?" She shows Logan a small golden cross necklace.

Logan shakes his head, but touches the cross with the tip of his finger for good measure. Nothing happens. "It wore off as soon as I left the room. And yeah, I've been out in the sunlight."

"Temporary vamping," Angela muses, relieved that the cross didn't do anything to Logan. "Still a really scary idea."

She stretches her arms. "Is there anything else that you know happened in the house, other than what you saw yourself?"

Logan shook his head. "Haven't really compared stories yet. You didn't make it there, did you?"

"No. I was helping Rory and Lockheed, and then I went to find Marty. It took a long time, and by the time we had talked ... I just wanted to sleep, you know?" She smiles. "I wore my costume to class yesterday so people would get to see it."
