Creative Arts, Monday 2

"Good morning, everyone," Steve said. He sounded pretty cheerful, as he was, quite frankly, glad to be back to normal this morning. He'd had a lot of fun as a child but it wasn't a state he missed. "This week we're going to continue with sculpture, but actual sculpture, not...you sculpture. Each of you has a measure of clay at your work station, along with a packet of tips on how to work with it. You don't necessarily have to read any of that if you want to. Playing it by ear is perfectly fine. Remember, you're being graded on effort, not talent or end result. So, get to work. There are gloves available if you really feel like you need them, but it may be helpful to be able to feel the clay. That's up to you."

Oh, this was awesome! The clay was all squishy between Rapunzel's fingers. And cool and smooth and just fun to work with.

Hard, though. She was kind of having trouble getting it to take any shape other than that of a blob. In fact, her current attempt to make something vaguely Pascal-shaped was turning out much more vague than shaped, much less Pascal-shaped.
