Basic Strategy, Monday, Period 4

The classroom looked much as usual this week, though Tyrion had bribed a member of the school staff to wheel in a DVD player and show him how to set it up.

"This is your lucky week," he began. "I'd planned to start a unit on military strategy this week, but I had some difficulty procuring certain materials. As a warm-up, we're going to spend this week watching a bit of filmed entertainment about knights. I can already tell you most of them aren't as pretty as the fellow in this film."

He hit play on the remote and eased back to his seat. "Enjoy the show."

Any private amusement on the topic of knights, well -- Stephanie managed to keep that to herself; for all intents and purposes it just looked like she was totally into the movie.

The truth was, there was at least one knight as pretty as this Thatcher fellow; Tyrion's brother Jaime. Tyrion was just disinclined to mention that.

Kate had seen pretty knights, but at the same time, there had been some damn ugly ones around the Order too.

She could appreciate that they'd picked a pretty one to watch for this, though.
