Student Council [Friday, Lunchtime]

The meeting room had been set up once again for the Student Council, with pizza, soda, and some chocolate fudge that Zoe had procured from J,GOB because November seemed like a good time for chocolate.

"Well, we've survived the big fall events, and you all did exceptionally well," Zoe said, giving them all a pleased smile. "We've got some empty time ahead of us, so if any of you have ideas for things you'd like the council to try to do, now is the time to share them."

"That could be fun," Annie said. "Especially since we had Canadian Thanksgiving as a group. And we are thinking holiday dance, not just Christmas, right?"

"Maybe we could just go with 'Winter Formal?'" Petra suggested. "With people from so many different places and cultures it's probably safer. Like, where my roommate's from I'm not even clear on if they actually have winter." She needed to get Dany some warm clothes. Soon. "And I think Thanksgiving dinner is a great idea. I'll be staying," because her family was broke, "so I'd be happy to help out with that in any way I can. Actually I think we should have community dinners more often, but definitely on Thanksgiving."
