Tuesday: Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse - Period 3

"Hey, everyone," Columbus said in greeting as class filed in. "Hopefully you all had a good fall break. Mine was spent in the office going over lesson plans and preparing for the rest of the semester."

Actually it was spent on his computer playing WoW, eating pizza and drinking Code Red. Lesson plans just sounded more responsible.

Columbus leaned back against his desk and pointed at the class. "So I'm going to skip the usual being chased or killing zombies class exercise and I want you all to write an essay on how you will react and qualify a life and death situation. Will you run to fight another day or fight the good fight? Why? What factors would make the decision go in one direction instead of another. Basically it all boils down to rule number seventeen."

And yes, that would be Columbus hitting the remote for more of his block letters. Though this time the words kept changing around a bit.



"Should you or should you not be a hero? Write down your answer and hand it in when you're done."

Bod wrote an essay on how he'd stay and fight but he detailed how he'd try to use his intelligence and the environment around him rather than weaponry and his fists. He wouldn't run away when there was a threat but he preferred to use his wits to detain people instead of hurting them, if he could.
