Wednesday: What was the school board thinking giving Jamie Madrox a teaching position?

When the students entered the danger shop today they would notice that the room had been transformed into an artist's studio. Around the room were various sculptures for everyone to see.

All made of butter.

Additionally there were blocks of butter of various sizes set up around the room as well.

And finally there was Jamie. He was dressed in an artist's smock with a beret and giant fake handlebar mustache glued to his face.

"Hello me petit fleurs!" Jamie exclaimed as the students entered the danger shop. "Today we vill be dooing art! Specifically zee sculptures en beurre! Butter scupltures!!"

He whirled around in a circle gesturing to all the beautiful art around him.

"Grab your tools! Grab some beurre and create... ZEE ART!"

[Be warned... we can expect some visitors today! :D]

Richie shook his head. "I suck as a roommate. Or maybe just as a guy that talks. Tessa's...Tessa. Mac's girlfriend. I was living with them before they sent me here for my own good. They took me in after I tried to rip off their antique store."

Richie paused, wondering if maybe that information hadn't really needed to be shared. Then he decided to go for a lighter tone. "And now that I've got a loving couple to look out for me, I've seen the error of my ways and I'm totally reformed. Or I have a job, back in Seacouver, and regular meals. One of those."

"Yeah, well, I'm just now telling you about Spencer, so I guess we both aren't doing so great about making sure we know more about each other," Freddie said.

"But cool on the reformed part." It didn't even really shake him one bit.

"And all it took was an insane teacher and absurd amounts of butter to bring us together," Richie said. "Dairy, man. It's magical stuff."

"Butter is part of a balanced breakfast," Freddie said with a grin.

"And lunch and dinner? Tessa's French. There's a lot of butter involved there." Richie looked down at his butter again. "Wonder if she'd be more appalled at the waste of perfectly good butter or my amazing lack of sculpting ability."

"That I can't tell you," Freddie said. "And... Butter's recyclable. So don't worry about that part."

"I wouldn't want to eat any butter anybody here had been sculpting," Richie said. "But I guess you're right. I should call later, tell her I'm leaving the sculpting up to her from now on."

"Will she be happy to hear that?" Freddie asked, all smile.

"Relieved is probably a better word for it," Richie said. "Either that or she'll point out that she was already doing all the sculpting. Which is totally accurate."

"Good point," Freddie said. "Well, maybe you can tell her she's in no danger of getting competition from you."
