Basic Strategy, Monday, 10/03
"Welcome to class," Tyrion said, once they'd gathered in the usual classroom. "I hope you enjoyed seeing your families or guardians, if they came; a few of them spoke with me. I promise I said nothing incriminating."
"This is a fairly easy week -- for me, not for you. I just have to read the names on this piece of paper, then you're to take care of the rest of it. I drew names at random to pair you up. Each pair is to spend some time together over the course of the week discussing something each of you might teach the other, and perhaps beginning some instruction in it. I don't especially care what the skill is, but please, nothing illegal, particularly immoral, or likely to get you killed."
He was betting on the last element being the hardest.
"You can either spend today as a discussion session, or leave with your partner to go work on whatever you're teaching each other. Next week, we'll discuss what we learned."
And with that, he took out the sheet and began to read.

Re: Talk to Tyrion [10/03]
"From my brother that's high praise. How do you think it went?"
Re: Talk to Tyrion [10/03]
"Is there something important about being a Lannister back home then?" It had seemed so the way Jaime talked.
Re: Talk to Tyrion [10/03]
"It's a very wealthy, very old house," he said, trying to be general. "Our father is lord of a rich bit of earth. Our sister is the king's wife. So yes, it's a name that people take note of."
He left out Jaime's particular claim to fame, as it were. No point spreading stories of regicide to impressionable ears.

Still, what he had said helped to connect a few dots. "He talks like someone not used to being questioned," she noted.
"I'll take meeting some sort of approval as a compliment." Even if 'wench' was not her preferred nickname.
Re: Talk to Tyrion [10/03]
Not that Tyrion was exactly the soul of tact himself.
